      A pre-cruise group dinner will be held on Sunday, December 5, 2010, at approximately 7:30-8:00pm, at the International House of Pancakes Restaurant (IHOP) located at 12150 I-10 Service Rd., New Orleans, Louisiana, off I-10 / Exit 245 at Bullard Ave. The IHOP Restaurant is located approximately 1 mile East of the Days Inn where the majority of Team Triumph is staying.  You must e-mail me at MMiller424@aol.com to be included in the group reservation for this restaurant.

      The winners and official slogan of the 'December 2010 Carnival Triumph T-Shirt Contest' will be revealed at the group dinner, after which time the attending winners (1st, 2nd & 3rd Place Winners) will receive their awards, and the T-shirts with the official slogan will be handed out to everyone on the contest participation list that requested T-shirts from Dottie and submitted their shirt sizes. 

      Please Note: The T-shirt order is now complete and concluded, therefore no other additional or custom orders will be accepted.

      **The above excursion is from 10:30am to 1:00pm, and is conducted on a 30-foot glass bottom boat that will tour 2 shallow Coral Reefs, each tour of which will be approximately 45 minutes in length with a 15-20 minute break in between, and beverages are included.  Guests will have the option of remaining on the boat to view the Coral Reefs by way of 2 glass windows on the hull of the boat, or explore the underwater for themselves using the provided snorkeling equipment.  Guests are responsible for transportation to and from the the Aqua Safari Pier, where they will be picked up and returned by the boat.  Transportation is readily available in the form of taxis and shuttles at both the cruise port and the Aqua Safari Pier.

      At the second traffic light, turn right. This is Tchoupitoulas Street.
      At the next traffic light, turn left. This is Henderson Street.
      Go two blocks (cross over the railroad tracks) and turn left. This is Port of New Orleans Place.

      Recent Updates: 07/20/2010 @ 11:00am (EDT); 07/14/2010 @ 1:00pm (EDT):

      The 'December 2010 Carnival Triumph T-Shirt Contest' official slogan and winners have been determined, and the T-shirt order is now complete and concluded.  The T-shirts have been sent to Jen and myself for delivery to New Orleans.  The T-shirts will be handed out at the 'Team Triumph T-Shirt Contest Awards Dinner' at the IHOP Restaurant near the Days Inn in New Orleans on the evening of Sunday, December 5, 2010, between 7:00-7:30pm, as previously outlined in a group e-mail and on Post 1 and 2 of this thread.  I have sent out an e-mail to everyone who ordered T-shirts requesting that payment for their shirts be made directly to Dottie via Money Order or Cash, and not personal checks.  I would strongly recommend that you pay by Money Order and do not send cash in the mail. Posted 07/20/2010 @ 11:00am (EDT)

      'Team Triumph T-Shirt Contest Awards Dinner' ~ Sunday, December 5, 2010, between 7:30-8:00pm, to be held at the International House of Pancakes Restaurant located near the New Orleans Days Inn - The results of the 'December 2010 Carnival Triumph T-Shirt Contest' will be announced at the dinner, revealing both the official slogan selected for the t-shirts, and the contest winners ("Grand Prize"-1st Place, 2nd Place and 3rd Place), who will then receive their award prizes!  At this time the t-shirts will also be handed out to all participating 'Team Triumph' members that requested T-shirts!  This will be a great dinner, so don't forget to bring your cameras! (Please note: This update revises the previous plans of having the T-Shirt Contest Awards included at the Bon Voyage Party on-board ship on the first night of the cruise) Posted 07/14/2010 @ 1:00pm (EDT)

      "I suppose that the following initial comments would be considered as our formal 'Mission Statement' for this thread, so I dressed accordingly!"

      After discussion with a number of shipmates on this cruise, we are putting together an official (or at least tacky and garish) roll call and cruise planning thread, with group hotel information and what not.  I will add and remove things as needed or requested in the first post, which will reflect some of the useful information for this cruise along the way.  We decided to place it in the Carnival Addicts Anonymous threads, as the Fun Ship Triumph threads will not do justice to the origin of this cruise, which after all, began here!

      I am looking for everyone who has already booked this cruise, or who is planning on attending and booking this cruise, to either post, or e-mail me, with what information they may wish to be included in the Roster on the first post of this thread, such as the guest names in your party, stateroom numbers, state of origin, etc., that you may want to have included. You may also have alternative hotel arrangements that you wish to post, or airline, hotel, and pier transportation information that you might consider important to include.  If you have any questions or suggestions, let one of us know by responding to my e-mail address, if not by posting.

      The 'December 2010 Carnival Triumph T-Shirt Contest' official slogan and winners have been determined, and the T-shirt order is now complete and concluded.  The T-shirts have been sent to Jen and myself for delivery to New Orleans.  The T-shirts will be handed out at the 'Team Triumph T-Shirt Contest Awards Dinner' at the IHOP Restaurant near the Days Inn in New Orleans on the evening of Sunday, December 5, 2010, between 7:00-7:30pm, as previously outlined in a group e-mail and on Post 1 and 2 of this thread.  I have sent out an e-mail to everyone who ordered T-shirts requesting that payment for their shirts be made directly to Dottie via Money Order or Cash, and not personal checks.  I would strongly recommend that you pay by Money Order and do not send cash in the mail. Posted 07/20/2010 @ 11:00am (EDT)

      Max, you are so ornganized. All friends has to do is call thier PVP. Lorri and I will most likely take the RV to Biloxi as we will be heading to FL after the cruise so we will meet everyone the morning of the cruise. Are we going to try and rally everyone for a Welcome Aboard photo?

      I look forward to future up dates and especially added names to the list of cruisers.
