See the best of the vibrant Grand Bahama Island in this adventurous jeep tour.
On this excursion you will:
- Hop into your jeep and drive off, on the left side of the road, following British tradition.
- See the popular Taino Beach, Sanctuary Bay where dolphins live, and picturesque replicas of the original New Plymouth homes.
- Stop on Casuarina Bridge to learn about Freeport’s unique history and founder, Mr. Wallace Groves.
- Continue with the off-road segment through Grand Bahama’s pine forest. Take a short hike to an inland Blue Hole.
- Get back in your jeep and follow the Heritage Trail along the seashore walked by settlers in the 1800’s.
- Take a dip in the crystal clear waters at a beach and enjoy a native snack.
Note: Minimum age to participate is 12 years old. Guests wishing to drive must be a minimum of 25 years old and present a valid driver's license. Four guests per jeep; jeeps available are manual shifting and automatic.
A swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, and comfortable closed-toe walking shoes are recommended.
Jeeps will travel on unpaved roads at times and the ride can be bumpy. This excursions is not recommended for guests who are pregnant or those who suffer from back/neck injuries.
