Take a ride on the wild side – Ride a Harley Davidson® Custom Sportster around the island and discover places few know about!
On this excursion you will:
- Head south and explore the ancient Mayan town of Cedral and its Mayan vestiges.
- Continue your motorcycle ride to Punta Celerain where you can climb to the top of the lighthouse for a breathtaking view.
- Learn that the lighthouse has a historical museum with artifacts and information about the families that lived and worked at this historical monument.
- Hop back on your Harley® and navigate the windy road back to the main highway and head north along the “wild side” of the island.
- Stop at Coconuts Bar & Grill and enjoy the lively surroundings while you are served ice cold drinks and dine on authentic Mexican cuisine.
- Have time to wander the beach, take a swim or just relax and enjoy the incredible view.
- Continue your journey north along the scenic coastline passing several beach resorts and pristine white sand beaches.
- Negotiate the turn at Mezcalitos and head west taking the transversal road that crosses the island, heading back to the main town of San Miguel.
- Stop at Carlos ‘n Charlie’s or Margaritaville, your final destination.
- Have the option to stay and continue the day on your own or return directly to the ship.
- Arrange for transportation back to the pier if you choose to stay downtown; guests wishing to return to the ship will be provided transportation.
Note: This tour is sold one person per motorcycle. However, as each motorcycle can accommodate up to two persons, an optional passenger ticket will be available for purchase once onboard. Driver must be 23 years or older with a valid motorcycle license. Minimum age for passenger is 18 years old. Maximum weight capacity per motorcycle is 400 lbs. Helmets are provided. A credit card must be given in the event the motorcycle is returned damaged. Riders must wear closed-toe shoes and long pants; eye protection in the form of sunglasses is highly recommended. Bring your bathing suit and sunscreen if you wish to do some swimming. Be advised that the beach location is known to be clothing optional, some nudity may be observed. Guests with a history of seizures, fainting, dizziness or taking any medications that would impair their ability to operate a motor vehicle cannot participate in this excursion.
