On Deck for the Cure

Carnival wants you to get on board and help make a difference with the “On Deck for the Cure” program.
Take part in this amazing effort on one of our 14 participating “Fun Ships,” including the Carnival Splendor next year, 2008. We've partnered up with the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Breast Cancer Foundation to offer you a convenient way to make a difference in some deserving women's lives with a $10 donation and a one- kilometer group walk with fellow passengers on deck.

Each participant also receives an “On Deck for the Cure” t-shirt and pink embossed wrist band.

Modeled after a similar program launched last year by our sister brand Holland America, the goal of On Deck for the Cure is to raise $1 million for breast cancer research as well as raise consumer awareness regarding breast cancer, one of the leading causes of death for women in the U.S.

These fantastic fundraising events will be held on a total of 14 "Fun Ships" and will include all vessels operating cruises of seven days or longer, including Alaska and Europe sailings, as well as four- and five-day voyages aboard the Carnival Elation from San Diego.
