Carnival Cruise Lines offers transportation between Fiumicino Airport and the Port of Civitavecchia. We also offer transfer services from an interim downtown Rome location for those guests who are arranging their own hotel accommodations. These services are only available on the day of your cruise and immediately after your cruise.

• Purchase of transfers can be done through MyReservations on Carnival.com or Carnival Reservations up to 5 days prior to your sail date; you will need to provide your flight information in FunPass at the time of purchase. Flight details are provided to the transportation company to assist in expediting your transfer to the pier. It is your responsibility to update Carnival with any changes to your flight schedule to ensure you are met by the transportation company.
• Guests arranging their own hotel accommodations can purchase transfers through Carnival Reservations up to 5 days prior to their sail date (transfers are not sold at the hotel). The interim location is the Visconti Palace Hotel, Via Federico Cesi, Rome, Italy. Telephone: 39-06-3684 - Guests must be in the Visconti Palace Hotel lobby between 11:30am-12:30pm. A Carnival Representative will be at the hotel to assist with your transportation to the pier.
• Purchase the transfer at the Fiumicino Airport (Rome) with a Carnival Cruise Lines airport representative*. (*Cash payment is not accepted at the airport, the transfer costs are charged directly to your onboard Sail & Sign Account.)

3. Click on the “Need a Lift” section then purchase your transfer.

Latest Flight Arrival: 12 Day Cruises and 16 Day Transatlantic Cruise
Arrivals into the Fiumicino Airport (Rome): 3:30pm

Earliest Flight Departures: 12 Day Cruises
Earliest departures out of the Fiumicino Airport (Rome): 9:30am

16 Day Transatlantic Cruise
Earliest departures out of either Newark or LaGuardia Airport: 1:00pm

Prior to your cruise you will be met at the airport:

You will be met and assisted by our meet & greet service inside the baggage claim area and then escorted to your vehicle for transfer to the port. Transfer time generally begins around noon depending on flight arrivals.

Transfers operate on the day of embarkation or debarkation only. Cruise only guests will be required to provide flight information via FunPass when purchasing transfers. When flight details have been recorded in FunPass updates are the responsibility of the guest.Carnival is not responsible to provide transfers for guests who schedule flights outside of the service times or provide incorrect flight information. The vehicle operator is an independent contractor. Carnival assumes no liability for losses, damages or injuries in connection with the use of the operator.
