Transfer Services.

Guests have the option of purchasing airport/pier one-way or round-trip transfers for the day of embarkation and debarkation or are responsible for all transportation to and from the pier. For Europe cruises, Carnival highly recommends purchasing optional 1 1/2 hour motor coach transportation for guests making their own travel arrangements. Alternate transportation is costly, and taxi service is very limited with no scheduled transportation service from the Port of Civitavecchia to the train station. Please allow adequate time for transfers between the airport and the pier, Customs inspections and airport security check. This transfer service is available only during normal operation hours. Advance reservations are required 5 days prior to sailing. Please contact your travel agent or click here for more details.

Fly Aweigh® Conditions and Restrictions.

Carnival reserves the right to add or withdraw a Fly Aweigh® city at any time but will attempt to accommodate those guests under deposit or final payment. Fly Aweigh® cities may not be available or may be on request on some departures due to airline availability or scheduling. Some cities are offered only on a seasonal basis. Group space is limited from certain cities.

For bookings made within 7 days of sailing, air is on a request basis and is not guaranteed.

Flights may require a stop, change(s) of plane and/or layovers. Air carriers and routings are assigned at Carnival's discretion and are subject to change without notice. Schedules may require overnight travel to/from the port city. Service may be jet, commuter or charter flights. Guests that are not checked in by the designated times may have their pre-assigned seat assignment and reserved space canceled and will not be eligible for denied boarding compensation or Carnival's Flight Protection program.

Due to limited availability during peak travel dates, non prime air schedules, charters and overnights may be assigned. For overnights, Carnival will cover the cost for the hotel, taxes, porterage and transportation between the hotel and the airport/pier. Any additional expenses will be the responsibility of the guests. For individual requirements, have your travel agent contact our Custom Fly Aweigh® Services.

Carnival cannot guarantee that guests traveling with other guests will be on the same airline or routing. For guarantee, please refer to the Custom Fly Aweigh® Services.

Guests may be flown in/out of alternative airports.

Tickets are issued at the lowest applicable Coach fare available and all restrictions apply. Cancellation or change penalties will be passed on to the guest. Airline tickets are refundable to Carnival only, if applicable. Travel is only valid round-trip to/from the guest's Fly Aweigh® city. Guests must use the Fly Aweigh® program for the purpose of taking a Carnival cruise.

Fly Aweigh® guests must check all documentation prior to sailing to ensure tickets correspond with the correct ship and sailing date. Guests or travel agents should request advance seat assignments and boarding passes directly with the ticketed air carrier(s) after airline tickets or your airline e-ticket confirmation have been received. Guests should reconfirm flight numbers and times within 48 hours of departure directly with the assigned carrier.

We strongly recommend that you contact your assigned airline(s) to obtain their luggage allowance policy for the maximum number, size and weight of bags that each guest is allowed at no charge. Guests are responsible for luggage fees, excess luggage charges as well as any other charges imposed by airlines or airports.

At the Airport:

We recommend that the guest verify with the airline representative that their luggage is checked in to their final destination. If travel to the final destination is scheduled on multiple airlines, it is the guest's responsibility to ensure that the airline representative of the originating airline is aware. In the event the originating airline does not have the continuing flight information, provide them with all of the necessary Electronic Ticket itineraries or paper ticket documents.

Carnival is not responsible for airline schedule changes. Schedules and itinerary information are available approximately 75 days weeks prior to departure via MyDocuments.

In lieu of an E-Ticket, it may be necessary to issue paper airline tickets. Paper airline tickets should never be destroyed or discarded. The original airline tickets MUST be returned to Carnival Cruise Lines in order to expedite the issuance of a replacement ticket, if necessary. Any outstanding refund will be held pending the receipt of the said tickets. A Lost Ticket Application Fee of up to $200 per ticket may be incurred if tickets are not returned.

Carnival provides complimentary hotel accommodations only for designated cities with overnight hotel stay for Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Orlando and Tampa sailings on a double-, triple- or quad-occupancy basis. Hotel will be assigned at time of ticketing.

Private single-occupancy hotel rooms are provided only for guests purchasing single-occupancy cruise staterooms.

Cities designated for overnight hotel stays are subject to change and may be withdrawn without prior notice. Carnival is not responsible for any arrangements, inconveniences or costs incurred due to such changes.

Complimentary mortorcoach transfers are provided for all guests between Ensenada and San Diego or Los Angeles airports.

Travel policies for infants (under 2 years of age) vary by airline and country. Fly Aweigh® guests traveling with an infant must contact Carnival Reservations department for requirements and additional costs.

Additional Notes for Alaska, Hawaii, Europe.

Any changes to bookings within 35 days (60 days for Europe) of the sailing are on a request basis only and are not guaranteed. Additional air costs may apply for bookings made less than 35 days prior to sailing, if space is available.

Fly Aweigh® guests traveling with an infant under 2 years old on Europe sailings must purchase a ticket at the full airfare supplement plus, applicable taxes/fees, or may choose to take the infant on their lap at a charge of 10% of the airfare supplement plus full applicable taxes/fees. Please contact Carnival Reservations department.

Due to airline schedules and/or limited availability, an overnight stay in Vancouver, Anchorage or Rome may be required.

Fly Aweigh® guests with 3- or 4-night pre- or post-CruiseTourPackages may be flown into or out of Fairbanks or Anchorage at Carnival's discretion, dependent upon air availability.

Fly Aweigh® guests originating in Los Angeles or San Diego for Hawaii cruises will receive one-way air tickets and will be transferred by motorcoach between the Los Angeles or San Diego airport and the pier in Ensenada.

Liability and Relation with Airlines.

If, due to any cause beyond our control, we are unable to arrange for air travel (for example, because of capacity controls placed upon us by airlines due to the types of fares under which we book), or the air travel we arrange is unavailable or otherwise fails to materialize, our liability will be limited to refunding the air add-on amount paid to us. We assume no liability for any acts or omissions of any airline, including, without limitation, those involving cancellation of flights, schedule changes, reroutings, damage to or delay or loss of baggage, flight delays, equipment failures, accidents, pilot or other staff shortages, overbooking or computer errors. The liabilities and obligations of an airline to you, and your rights as an airline passenger, are subject to any and all terms and conditions of the airline's ticket and tariffs.
