Europe Cruise Reviews
Here are just a few of the many wonderful Europe cruise experiences our guests shared with us.
I saw more of Europe
Ship: Liberty | Sail Date: 08/25/05 | Destination: Europe. I wouldn't have been able to cover so much ground in Europe without the assistance of Carnival Cruise Line. I traveled solo, so this meant that I felt very safe at all times, and that someone was watching out for me. I was interested in seeing Italy, and I really got my money's worth, (which is an experience I have on every trip I have ever taken with you guys). I got exactly what I was looking for, which was to spend a short amount of time in a lot of ports. This allows you to decide where you would like to return in the future, and which places you can eliminate from your to-do list. The shore excursions were excellent. It's very hard to travel alone in Europe, let alone if you're a woman. Being on the cruise ship allowed me to move about with a large group of people, while feeling safe and secure. I met many enjoyable people on board, also an experience I always have on Carnival. People shouldn't worry about traveling along on Carnival Cruise Line. You'll love it. Our first trip to Europe
Ship: Liberty | Sail Date: 08/13/2005 | Destination: Europe. This was our first trip to Europe and we couldn't have had a better time. We were in 7 ports and Croatia was by far the cleanest and friendliest. Although all ports we found the locals to be pleasant and eager to help us get around. The Carnival Liberty was a beautiful ship and with it being as large as it is, we never felt crowded or had to wait very long in any line. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to go again. Thank you for a great experience. I would also like to add that the cruise director, John, has got to be the BEST in the industry. We loved him and his spontaneous humor. We had a ball with him. Best out of 5 Cruises
Ship: Liberty | Sail Date: 08/13/05 | Destination: Europe. I have sailed with Carnival five times. This summer my family's trip to Europe was by far the best yet. The itinerary was robust and took us from Rome to Croatia, Spain, the south of France and Monaco, Sicily and Italy. I will never forget Venice, Tuscany and walking the rim of Mt. Etna. There were so many tour to choose from that we might have to go back to take the ones we missed. Of special note was the President of the Cruise line and his wife were sailing with us and we met him at the cocktail party for past cruisers. When many on the ship wanted to see an active volcano, the captain took us off the itinerary to an island at dusk where we saw lava flowing down the mountain. I will never forget this trip. It was once in a lifetime. I encourage all to navigate Europe this way and experience multiple countries in less than twelve days. Keep up the good work and thanks for giving up three of your ship to help out with Katrina. Posted in Liberty Other by Ann on 01-10-2006
All of our experiences were new
Ship: Liberty | Sail Date: 08/13/2005 | Destination: Europe. This was our seventh cruise overall. Five have been with Carnival. We enjoyed this cruise as much as the other ones we have taken. Having never been to Europe, all of our experiences were new. This was only the third cruise that Liberty had taken and everything went off without a hitch. We had taken another cruise last year and the ship was a new ship. The ship had multiple problems because it was a new. The ports of call in Europe were fantastic. We booked all of our shore excursions through the ship and they were all well run. The food on the ship was good as always. The casino was a good time and we actually broke even with our wagers. We took a two day pre-cruise in Rome. I would recommend it to anyone who has not been to Rome. The pre-cruise allowed us to see the sites of Rome and also to get adjusted to the time change from the United States. Posted in Liberty Other by Ken on 01-10-2006 |
