Victory on March 19th 2006

We are sailing on the Victory March 19th. Has anyone sailed on this ship before and if so how did you like it. We have sailed on the Valor, Holiday(2) and the Destiny. We have also sailed with Princess (7), Norwegian(2) and Celebrity(2). It always interesting to see how much difference there is in the cruising experience even within each ship class.

Figured I would reply to your message, since you have been the only people to reply to mine "Hello out there" atleast have the courtesy to say hello, have a nice trip or whatever.  Anyway, I hope you two enjoy your cruise, when you get back, if you wouldn't mind, let me know how the ship was because April will be our first cruise on the Victory also.

We sailed her last June.  She's a beautiful ship in excellent shape.  You'll have a great time.

WE HAVE SAILED ON THE VICTORY TWICE (W.CARRIB.) AND IT IS A REALLY NICE SHIP.  THE STAFF IS VERY NICE AND OF COURSE THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS!  THE SHIP IS IN REALLY GOOD SHAPE AND THE ROOMS ARE NICE AND CLEAN.  WE ARE IN TH PROCESS OF PLANNING ANOTHER TRIP THIS YEAR IN THE FALL (E.CARRIB) AND ARE LOOKING AT THE VICTORY AGAIN... PROBABLY WILL BOOK SOON AND THE ONLY 2 SHIPS GOING WHEN AND WHERE WE WANT TO GO ARE THE VICTORY AND HER "SISTER" THE TRIUMPH.  BOTH ARE VERY NICE.  GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN ON YOUR TRIP.  SIGN BACK ON IF YOU WILL AND LET ME KNOW HOW YOU ENJOYED THE SHIP.

Thanks for the replies folks. We are looking forward to our cruise on the Victory. We have sailed on the Destiny, the Holiday and the Valor. It sounds like the Victory is even better. When we return home I will let you all know how we enjoyed the ship.

Paul,  Thank you so much for the photos.  We are first time cruisers, going in March and I felt like I was there when looking at all your wonderful photos.  Your family is adorable and I thank you again.  Can you tell us how to dress for the dinners in the evenings?  Also, where did your cruise go (islands)?        Laurie K.

Edward, I'll be the balding guy with eye glasses at the video poker machines. We will be staying at the Crowne Plaza on the 18th and will most likely be in line Sunday morning by 11:00am. Maybe we'll see you at the Buffet around noon.

Hi Jim and Jerry,
I checked out cruisecritic message boards, looks like you will be traveling
with a fun group!!!!!  You are so lucky, only 13 more days!!!!  Please let
me know what you thought of the ship/activities, etc.  Also, we are trying
to come up with a good place to meet another family going on the 4/2 cruise,
if you notice a good spot(not too crowded) could you please let me know?
