  1. We are first time cruisers, taking our two kids (20 and 22) with us on the Elation to Cabo in June.  We are trying to choose a shore excursion and considering snubaing.  My husband has some disabilities (some paralysis and deaf)  but is a pretty good swimmer.  Has anyone tried this?  Is it difficult to get in and out of the boat, lots of hard swimming etc?  We are trying to find something fun for the whole family that we couldn't likely do at home (we live in So Cal) but still not too expensive.  Can we snuba and then lie out on the beach and then shop? Should we get a written release from his doctor so the company doesn't refuse him when he shows up for the shore excursion?  this is all new to me. any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

I haven't done snuba but I think it is pretty entry level.  I don't see the ship or cabo operator refusing the business unless he is in a wheelchair.  As long as it doesn't hurt their equipment, like a 400 pound person on a horse, they should be ok.  I was considering the same or a snorkel trip.  I did Cabo before on the Pride and you will have plenty of time after your excursion to shop and beach.  I'm planning to go June 8th, what date is your family going on?  I'm taking my daughter and her friend for her HS graduation.  I know a bit about Ensenada, the activities, ship, etc so if you have any questions, send them my way.  I was on Paradise in June and can't wait for next year.

Willing to do almost anything for a ship on a stick Photobucket
