Me and some girlfriends are taking a girls' only cruise this July on the Elation.  For this stop, we were planning to just make it a big beach hang out day.  They seem to offer everything here - parasailing, jetskiis, water paddles, waterbikes, banana boats, etc.  We figure we'll hang out and do all this and drink and enjoy.  I hear the water is so still like a huge pool.....We will save our excursions for the other stops where we can split up and snorkel, etc......

Goose, I would just take in the Beach and enjoy....It is Great! The shore exc. are most like any other, there are a lot of things at the beach to do, but as for as the Island there is no Town and only a gift shop and some bars to drink at. Just a note for info....be early on the morning of the Half Moon Cay, in the Makido Lounge to get your Tender Numbers to go ashore....The sooner that you leave the ship the better site location on the Beach you get, It dose get full fast. At about 11am you can make your way to the food area to eat lunch, only charges are for Cokes and Booze. There is Food and no hurry to eat, they have covered areas to eat at. We found the Beach to be the best of all stops, and you can always look at some shore exc. at the other ports. We were ther on Feb 20th and wish we were still there. Bring you snorkel gear, this is a good place to do so. Ronnie

I was there in 2002 and it was just beautiful..like something out of the movies...most beautiful water ever!!  But we were suppose to stop there after the hurricanes and they couldn't make the stop...I was so disappointed...that was the best part of the whole trip...Sure hope it has been rebuilt as it was or better.
