In order to help we would probably need to know where?

They posted under "Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida" so I would assume that is where they are looking for a hotel.

Hope I am not too late, we are staying at the Residence Inn Cape Canavera, as we use our Marriott reward as often as possible.

How about if you are renting a car?  I will be driving down from Rhode Island with a rent-a-car.  Advice??>>Believer

If you are keeping the car while you are on the cruise, I'd choose Radisson, if you choose the Cruise package, you can leave the car there while you are gone, thus saving the parking fees.

The Radisson advertises as the closest to the port. If you stay at the Radisson, you can park for free while you are on a cruise.  There is a daily fee ($15) for parking at the port, so you can save some money as well.

I booked the Four points by Sheriton in Cocoa Beach...right by the water and Ron Jons Surf shop is within the hotel. We are going in March and are being transported by the radisson for only $10 more ...not each...$10 total. The room was $129 which is a little more than the Radisson but it is Spring break and I would rather not be at the cheap hotels where the college craziness is. :)
