I heard that you can bring a bottle of wine per person aboard.  Has anyone done this before??

We are going to bring 2 bottles in our carry on , and also going to buy there wine package for dinner so we figure the 5 bottles in the package and the 2 we bring we will have one for everynight for dinner. I think they carge a corking fee for opening the ones we bring , oh well were on vacation ...

We always bring 2 bottles. Don't forget a cork screw. You can keep the bottles in your cabin and pour a glass anytime, Then take it with you when you go out and about. If you take the bottle to the dinning rom they're supposed to charge a corkage fee of $10. Sometimes they do and sometimes not. If you don't finish the bottle they will keep it and bring it back the next night.

Liquor and Beverage Policy

Bringing Alcohol On Board - Embarkation

Guests are prohibited from bringing alcoholic beverages onboard. However, guests 21 years of age and older only may bring one bottle (750ml) of wine or champagne, per person, on board only during embarkation at the beginning of the cruise. A $10 corkage fee per bottle will be charged should you wish to consume this wine in the main dining room; $14 corkage fee per bottle in the Supper Club. Guests may bring a small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages. All prohibited alcohol, additional quantities of wine/champagne or excessive quantities of non-alcoholic beverages will be confiscated and discarded without compensation.
