So have I.  It's in the carnival.com FAQs.

Desperately seeking 10th cruise for the free laundry.

I've heard of people bringing a rolling cooler filled with their soda so they don't have to buy the soda card.  We bought a large water bottle the night before and drank it all before boarding our plane, then just stached it in our carry on bag.  Then once on the ship, we were able to refill it the entire time.  And we just made sure the bottle was filled before retiring to our cabin.  Happy cruising!

rolling coolers are no longer allowed... you can bring a cooler that is no larger than 12x12x12  if it is larger you will not be able to bring it on.    if you have one that is larger and you can fold it down so it can go in one of your suitcases that is about the only way to get a larger one onboard. but you are allowed to bring the soda and 1 bottle of wine per person over the age of 21, on with you.

As long as their cooler is no larger than 12x12, and soft sided.

Thanks for the updated info.  Just goes to show you how things change quickly.  I haven't cruised since last summer.

You are allowed to bring "reasonable amounts" of water and soda aboard with you. The term "reasonable amounts" has never been defined. On my last cruise my girlfriend and I carried on a 24-pack each of water. We haven't bothered with sodas, but lots of people bring on 12-packs. You can carry them or put them in one of your bags. You are also allowed to bring one bottle of wine per person 21 or older.

You can also bring sodas and water onboard if you buy them while onshore. I've done this quite a bit.

Water is at the Lido deck where the tea and juices are.
