Anyone going on this cruise?  I have checked roll call several times but haven't found anyone yet.  I am going on this cruise with my best friend.  It is our annual girl trip.  This will be our first time ever cruising.  Suggestions and tips are always welcomed.

Not everyone knows about Carnival Connections.  The closer you get to your departure date, you will see more activity.  Keep looking, you'll have the opportunity to learn some neat things before you go.

Try looking at the Sensation forum under ships.  Sometimes it is an old post, or if you want you can start a new one.  I like the Sensation it's a nice little ship and now has all the upgrades too.

Happy cruising

Kathleen, We are sailing on the Sensation July 11/2010.  Question for you...I know drinks are extra, someone mentioned you have to pay for coffee with your meal? Have you heard of this or is it true?  This is our first cruise and I am really nervous especially with the individual who just fell off the ship.  We are bringing our 15 yr old with us and concerned about how we will find her when she meets people on the ship and they plan on doing things? May sound silly....but????

Kathleen, We are sailing on the Sensation July 11/2010.  Question for you...I know drinks are extra, someone mentioned you have to pay for coffee with your meal? Coffee is one of the free drinks. You can get it at the buffett or in the dining room for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. A lot of people bring a large insulated mug with them that way they can fix a big cup and carry it around the ship with them without worrying about spilling it. Have you heard of this or is it true?  This is our first cruise and I am really nervous especially with the individual who just fell off the ship.  No need to be nervous about that. You have to do something really stupid or try to jump over board. The rails are high and have plexiglass on them. We are bringing our 15 yr old with us and concerned about how we will find her when she meets people on the ship and they plan on doing things? You can bring a couple of two way radios for this. You may also be able to ent them on board. Another option is to have mandatory check in times and places with her. May sound silly....but????

We cruised on the Sensation a few years ago before the upgrade. We loved the ship then and cannot wait to sail her again now that she has been upgraded. Happy cruising. Go with a great attitude and just know that not everything will be perfect but it will be a wonderful vacation.

Some drinks are extra -- it depends on what you drink.  Plain old regular joe is complimentary, but if you want some of the fancy duded-up coffees, that'll require your Sail-n-Sign.

I am really nervous especially with the individual who just fell off the ship.

Don't worry about him.  He's fine.  Stupid, but fine.

You have to be monumentally stupid, monumentally drunk, suicidal, or in the company of those who are monumentally stupid/drunk in order to "fall" off the boat.

Desperately seeking 10th cruise for the free laundry.

never cruised b4,

the individual who just "fell" off the ship, jumped, he was having a fight with his wife and said he was going to jump, his wife told him go ahead, and he did.  so do not worry you can not just fall off the ship. once you get onboard you will see that anyone who falls off had to be doing something stupid.

My friend Jamie and I are also taking our annual girls vacation on this cruise!! We are looking forward to the trip... Does anyone know of any good places to stay in St. Augustine, FL or Savannah, GA... We are thinking of stopping at one of the two on our way home Thursday for the night..
