Has anyone gone surfing in Acapulco?  Mainly interested in renting a board and finding/getting to a nearby beach that has small to medium waves for a novice surfer.  Thanks in advance for any info.

Surfing in Acapulco is done usally at Revolcadero Beach and Bonfil, where locals will rent buggy and surf boards, depending on tide conditions, I would say both beaches have medium size waves.

Both beaches are alocated at the Diamante Zone, about a 40 minute cab ride to Revolcadero and 50 minute cab ride to Bonfil
