My son, daughter-in-law, three grandchildren and I had a fine time on the Pride (Oct 4 to 11th). We are all experienced cruisers (even the kids), but I wanted to especially thank Carnival for their particularly fine service on this ship.   Special kudos to the children’s activities personnel; the medical staff; and, of course, those wonderful waiters and waitresses in the dining room. Also, big thanks for sailing out of Baltimore. Sparing us airline costs by being within driving distance of our homes means we can cruise more often. We are all looking forward to going again very soon!

Let me say first, we like everything about cruising and have done a lot of it on many different ships and cruise lines.  As to what was especially good about the Pride, I would have to say that leaving from Baltimore is probably #1. Additionally, we thought the medical care for one of our group was very competent and solicitous. We have also found that Carnival gives a good deal for the price.what kind of things do they have for the young one to do??? we also live within driving distance from baltimore ,which is great-i hear lots of great things about this ship...

The kid activities differed according to their age group. At ten, six and four each of the kids was in a different group. They did all sorts of things. A scavenger hunt was the most exciting activity for the ten year old. Just meeting other kids their age on the ship was fun. An important point, however, was the staff did such a good job that the children wanted to return each day, giving the adults some welcome relaxation time!

I hope you have a great time on your next cruise!

Tell your friends and neighbors. Let's keep the Pride in Baltimore where she belongs. I talked to the cruise director and he said they would bring another ship in if this one goes well. So keep her booked for the 2 years so she stays longer and brings more ships and itineraries. Our number #1 was because it was Baltimore. But there were many other #1 once we were on cruise. We are all going again.

Support Baltimore cruising. Who wants to go to FL to cruise.

I agree 100%...   It was so nice to cruise Carnival out of Baltimore.  I am going to go again as well.  I just did not get to do all that I really wanted to...   LOL.   Sept. 2010 is looking like a really good date so far (even tho' I could go next week if I had the $$$$)..   I really really hope they bring in more ships and more itineries...
