The description of the OV stateroom states that there is a sitting area.  Is this a small couch or just a chair?

tracier66,  Without trying to sound too silly, might depened on the ship and deck you are booked on.  Which ship are you booked for?

It usually is a good sized sofa, and a coffee table, located between the bed(s) and the bathroom.   In some OV cabins, the sofa is also a pull out bed.

all the descriptions I have read say a chair

I have had two ocean views on the Insperation and it was a chair.  it looks alot like a inter. room but with window.
