Prior to arriving in Ocho Rios<\/a>, we had visited Carnival\u2019s onboard adventures reservation counter in order to get the best advice on an on shore excursion in Ochos Rios that would best fit our expectations while staying in a good price range and secured a good adventure! The reservation host was so helpful and had a lot of experience with the excursions already so she knew which trip would be the best for us! <\/span><\/p>\n

We woke up bright and early to our Carnival cruise ship pulling into the bay of Ocho Rios. We cannot even begin to describe the beautiful blue water in contrast with the lush green mountains sprinkled with each and everyone of the beautiful homes. Once we disembarked the ship we were welcomed by the most friendly people at every turn. There was this amazing open market right outside the pier that was so colorful and loaded with the most gorgeous handmade items. Once we got on the bus to go to an exclusive VIP beach<\/a> we made our way through the city that was filled with shopping and dining.<\/span><\/p>\n

Next we came upon the outskirts of the city where the streets were covered with a canopy of lovely green tropical trees. Our bus pulled down through a forest that opened up to a beautiful beach that had several shops and a restaurant. Our tour guide then led us down to our private beach chairs and tables. The staff was extremely friendly and willing to help or answer any questions we had. <\/span><\/p>\n

The sand on the beach was so soft and deep. The water was the most rich aqua color.<\/p>\n

The surrounding jungle was a perfect place to take pictures and explore the best features of Ocho Rios. <\/span><\/p>\n

At the end of our tour we shopped around some more, loaded up on the bus and returned safe and sound to our ship. The experience was absolutely unforgettable.<\/span><\/p>\n
