The countdown is on…I leave on\u00a0my Carnival cruise to Alaska<\/a> on May 26th. OMG. I’ve been dreaming about this trip for like my entire life…<\/p>\n

In celebration of this epic journey, in tribute to my favorite time of day (happy hour) and to toast the snowy mountain peaks ~ I’m sharing the Alaska Cocktail<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

I can’t wait to wake up in the morning, pull back the curtains & watch\u00a0whales jumping in their playground\u00a0among\u00a0a\u00a0glacier\u00a0backdrop. Seriously, this trip is right up my alley.<\/p>\n

I’ll be enjoying days at sea with\u00a0incredible views, delicious food & sipping Alaska cocktails.\u00a0I will also be participating in many off shore excursions. We start this trip in Seattle and then move onto Juneau, Skagway, Glacier Bay, Ketchikan and Victoria. So many amazing destinations!<\/p>\n

Off the ship I’ll be a glacier explorer, canopy adventurista, and\u00a0husky dog musher. I’ll\u00a0also\u00a0be\u00a0getting a birds eye view of\u00a0the landscape from a helicopter. Pinch me now!<\/p>\n

So what is an Alaska Cocktail anyway? It’s a classic martini style drink. The ingredients include:\u00a02 orange bitters, gin, yellow chartreuse (or green if that’s all you have) and lemon peel. It’s a fragrant, slightly sweet drink. Elegant & super easy to shake up.\u00a0I hope you enjoy this classic cocktail…and I can’t wait to share more about my trip later this month!<\/p>\n
