Only a few miles off the coast of Bimini in the Bahamas, you can see the eerie shape of the S.S Sapona sticking out of the water. You can now easily <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.carnival.com\/cruise-search#?layout=list&amp;numAdults=2&amp;pageNumber=2&amp;pageSize=8&amp;ptPort=bim&amp;showBest=true&amp;sort=fromprice\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">set sail<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for this island paradise and do some <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.carnival.com\/shore-excursions\/bimini\/sapona-shipwreck-snorkeling-402015\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">shipwreck snorkeling<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> or dive between the pillars of its rusting body.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was made during World War I and ran aground after a hurricane. Today it\u2019s a refuge for tropical fish and a popular snorkeling and diving spot. Want a spookier experience? Whatever the reason, (maybe they wanted to stay for the beautiful beaches?), you can see this coral-covered oddity in good condition standing proud on the ocean floor.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.carnival.com\/cruise-to\/caribbean-cruises\/st-thomas-cruises.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b><i>St. Thomas<\/i><\/b><\/a><b><i>: Multiple<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Did you know that St. Thomas has more shipwrecks in its water than any other U.S. Virgin Island? The MV Captain Keith Tibbetts is now a top dive spot and you can still see the turret guns protruding from the sunken deck, which adds to the otherworldly experience.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.carnival.com\/cruise-to\/caribbean-cruises\/mahogany-bay-cruises.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b><i>Roatan, Honduras<\/i><\/b><\/a><b><i>: Odyssey<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A fairly new shipwreck, the 300-foot Odyssey was intentionally sunk in 2002 not far off the shore of Roatan after it was damaged by a fire. It was a planned diving site and the ship has holes cut right into the side for divers to easily explore it!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As one of the largest diving sites in the Caribbean that\u2019s surrounded by colorful coral reefs, you probably can\u2019t see the entire thing in one go! \u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Dive down and explore another world!
