Belize<\/strong><\/p>\n Belize<\/a> is full of natural wonders, chief among them The Blue Hole<\/a>, a 1,000-foot wide, 400-foot deep part of Belize\u2019s barrier reef and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Divers can expect to see Caribbean reef sharks and fish in a kaleidoscope of colors, along with beautiful stalactite cave formations beneath the surface. The Blue Hole is just one of many renowned dive spots in Belize.<\/p>\n Grand Cayman<\/strong><\/p>\n Divers love Grand Cayman<\/a> for the chance to include shipwrecks and stingrays in their underwater explorations. The USS Kittiwake<\/a>, a decommissioned ship that sunk off the coast of Grand Cayman Island is now upright and easily accessible, just a five-minute boat ride away from the famous Seven Mile Beach. There are over 100 other dive sites in Grand Cayman, including the self-explanatory Stingray City.<\/p>\n Cozumel<\/strong><\/p>\n The waters off Cozumel<\/a> and the Yucat\u00e1n Peninsula are some of the best known for scuba diving. There are more than 30 dive sites along the Cozumel coastline, including the Santa Rosa Wall, Colombia Wall, Palancar Reef and Punta Tunich. The variety of both shallow and deep dives means that long-time divers and beginners alike can find a spot tailored to their experience.<\/p>\n Dominica<\/strong><\/p>\n Above ground, Dominica<\/a> is often compared to Jurassic Park. Below the surface, there is also a world of wonder, on both the Caribbean and Atlantic sides of the island. Marine life you can expect to see when diving includes barracuda, sea turtles, tuna, batfish, seahorses and eels. On your boat trips to and from the dive sites<\/a>, you may even catch of glimpse of the whales that frequent the waters off Dominica.<\/p>\n British Virgin Islands<\/strong><\/p>\n The BVIs are known as a sailing paradise, but when you cruise to Tortola<\/a> in this region, you\u2019ll discover that there is plenty to see beneath the water line, too. The warm waters of Virgin Gorda make it an easy spot for beginners to get their, well, fins wet!
