OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE FIFTY (50) UNITED STATES (“U.S.”) AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA WHO ARE AT LEAST TWENTY-ONE (21) YEARS OF AGE WITH A VALID EMAIL ADDRESS AS OF DATE OF ENTRY. This Promotion may be modified, canceled or postponed by Sponsor at any time in its sole discretion due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

ELIGIBILITY: The Fun in ’21 Cruise Promotion (“Promotion”) is only open to legal residents of the fifty (50) U.S. and the District of Columbia who are at least twenty-one (21) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, agents, officers and directors of Carnival Cruise Line, a division of Carnival Corporation (“Sponsor”), Carnival Corporation, teamDigital Promotions, Inc. (“teamDigital”) and/or “Administrator”) (collectively the “Promotion Entities”), Facebook, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, representatives and advertising agencies, Promotion fulfillment and marketing agencies (collectively, “Released Parties”) and their immediate families (parents, spouses, children and siblings and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside), and household members, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win. Void where prohibited. This Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Participation constitutes your full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s and Administrator’s decisions. The information you provide as detailed below will only be used for Promotion purposes. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. You are providing your information to the Sponsor and not to Facebook.

PROMOTION PERIOD: This Promotion is comprised of two (2) types of smaller promotions; 1) contests (each, a “Contest” and collectively the “Contests”) and 2) sweepstakes (each, a “Sweepstakes” and collectively the “Sweepstakes”) (together, the “Promotion”). The Promotion will be divided into four (4) Contests and eleven (11) Sweepstakes (each, sometimes hereafter referred to as a “Challenge”). Each Challenge will have designated entry dates that may be referred to individually as a “Challenge Period” and collectively, as the “Challenge Periods”. The Promotion begins at 12:00:00 A.M. ET on 4/21/21 and ends at 11:59:59 P.M. ET on 6/30/21 or when the last Challenge Period ends according to the applicable Facebook post, whichever comes first. (“Promotion Period”).

HOW TO PARTICIPATE: At select times during the Promotion Period the Sponsor (at its sole discretion) will post a Challenge on the Carnival Players Club Facebook Page found at www.facebook.com/carnivalplayersclub (“Challenge Post”) To participate in the respective Challenge, you will be required to follow the instructions provided in the Challenge Post to either post a comment, photo, or video as a comment underneath the respective Challenge Post (hereafter, each an “Entry”).

Your Entry must be in English and your Facebook account must be public in order to be eligible for Entry. Once you complete the above steps, you will receive one (1) Entry into the applicable Challenge. Limit one (1) Entry per person/email address/Facebook account per Challenge. Entries received outside of the stated limitation will be void. Subsequent attempts made by the same individual to submit multiple Entries by using multiple or false contact information or otherwise may be disqualified. Submitting an Entry constitutes your consent to participate in the Promotion and consent for Sponsor to obtain, use, and transfer your name, address, email and other details for Promotion administration purposes. Except as noted in these Official Rules, information collected for this Promotion is used only for the purpose of Promotion administration and winner notification, and will not be re-used, sold or shared in any manner by Promotion Entities or any third parties unless entrant has elected to receive additional information and Promotion material from the Sponsor or any third party. By participating in the Promotion, participant agrees to all of the terms and conditions of the Sponsor’s Privacy Notice, which is available at https://www.carnival.com/en-US/about-carnival/legal-notice/privacy-notice .

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: To be eligible, each Entry must be in English, and must be your original creation and solely owned or controlled by you. Entry must be unique and (where applicable) only include yourself, friend(s) and/or family member(s) for whom you have secured permission (and if a minor is featured in the Entry, secured permission from such minor’s parent or legal guardian) to submit Entry in this Promotion. Entry cannot defame or invade publicity and/or intellectual property rights or the privacy of any person, living or deceased, or infringe upon any proprietary or other rights of any person or party. Entry may also not contain, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, any content that is sexually explicit or suggestive, violent or derogatory, profane or pornographic, contains nudity; promotes alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or use of any of the foregoing); promotes any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous; promotes any particular political agenda or message; is obscene or offensive; endorses any form of hate or hate group; defames, misrepresents or contains disparaging remarks about other people or companies; contains trademarks, logos, or trade dress (such as distinctive packaging or building exteriors/interiors) owned by others, other than as outlined above; contains any personal identification (other than your name as it appears on Facebook); contains materials embodying the names, likenesses, or other indicia identifying any person, including, without limitation, celebrities and/or other public or private figures, living or dead, without requisite permission (such as permission of those featured in submitted Entry); contains look-alikes of celebrities or other public or private figures, living or dead; communicates messages or images inconsistent with the positive images and/or good will to which Sponsor wishes to associate; and/or violates any law. Entries deemed by the Sponsor, in its sole discretion, to be immoral, obscene, profane or not in keeping with Sponsor’s image and values or in violation of these Official Rules will be void. In the event of non-compliance with any requirements specified herein or with any of the terms of these Official Rules, Entry will be void.

Message and data rates apply if you choose to enter using your mobile device. Entrants further warrant and represent that (1) Sponsor shall own the Entry (and all material embodied therein); (2) that by entering, the entrant irrevocably assigns to Sponsor and its designees any and all rights, title and interest in the Entry including but not limited to all intellectual property rights; and (3) that Sponsor and its designees shall have, without limitation, the perpetual, right, but not the obligation, worldwide to edit, adapt, modify, publish, exploit and use the Entry in any way and in any media for trade, advertising, promotional and/or other purposes as Sponsor and/or its designees may determine without further consideration, notification or permission of entrants, winners or any third parties or, at its discretion, remove any Entry. The name of the “authorized account holder” associated with any given Facebook account or email address will be deemed to be the entrant and must comply with these Official Rules. The authorized account holder is defined as the natural person who is assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, an online service provider, or another organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address. Proof (to Sponsor’s satisfaction) of being the authorized account holder may be required by Sponsor. Released Parties are not responsible for lost, incomplete, late, damaged, delayed, garbled, inaccurate, incomplete or misdirected entries, Entries or email messages; failures or malfunctions of phones, phone lines or telephone systems or other communications malfunctions; interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections including those through www.facebook.com/carnivalplayersclub; miscommunications, failed computer hardware or software or other technical failures; garbled, lost, misrouted or scrambled transmissions; any error, omission, interruption, defect or delay in any transmission or communication; traffic congestion on the Internet or for any technical problem, including but not limited to any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in this Promotion; printing, typographical or other errors appearing within these Official Rules or in any Promotion-related advertisements or other materials; or other errors or problems of any kind whether mechanical, human, technical, electronic or otherwise; or the administration of the Promotion; or the processing or judging of entries. Use of any device to automate or subvert the entry process is prohibited and any entries received through such means will be void.

CONTEST JUDGING: Each Contest Judging will take place within seven (7) business days following the applicable Challenge Period end date. As indicated in the below chart in the Prize section of these Official Rules, for three (3) of the four (4) Contest Challenges, the criteria outlined below will be used to determine three (3) Contest Prize winners each from among all eligible Entries received during the applicable Challenge Period, and for one (1) of the four (4) Contest Challenges, the criteria outlined below will be used to determine one (1) Contest Prize winner from among all eligible Entries received during the applicable Challenge Period for a total of ten (10) Contest Prize winners throughout the Promotion Period. Sponsor and its designees, whose decisions will be final and binding in all matters relating to this Promotion, will judge each Entry based on the following criteria: 1) Level of Originality (30%), 2) Quality of Content (30%), and 3) Appropriateness to the Challenge (40%). In the event of a tie for any given category, such tied Entries will be re-judged based on the following criteria: Relevance to Theme: 100%. The entrants who submitted the respective three (3) and one (1) top scoring Entries during the Challenge Period, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, will be deemed the potential Contest Prize winners (subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the terms of these rules).

SWEEPSTAKES DRAWING: Each Sweepstakes drawing will take place within seven (7) business days following the applicable Challenge Period’s end date. For each of the eleven (11) Sweepstakes Challenges, one (1) Sweepstakes Prize winner will be randomly selected from among all eligible Sweepstakes Entries received for that Challenge. Sweepstakes drawings will be conducted by Administrator, an independent judging organization whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to the Promotion. Odds of winning a Sweepstakes Prize will depend on the number of eligible Sweepstakes Entries received for the applicable Challenge.
Non-winning eligible Entries from one Challenge will not carry-over or be eligible for subsequent Challenges.

PRIZE NOTIFICATION: The potential winners will be notified through Facebook and will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release (where legal) Publicity Release, and required tax documents within five (5) days of date of issuance of notification. Prize winner’s guests (if any) must be a legal resident of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia, twenty-one (21) years of age or older and must execute and return a Liability and (where legal) Publicity Release prior to issuance of travel documents. If a potential winner cannot be contacted; is ineligible according to these Official Rules; fails to return the required documents within the specified time period, if prize notification is returned as undeliverable; if a potential winner decides to decline his/her prize for any reason whatsoever; or if a potential winner otherwise fails to fully comply with these Official Rules, he/she will forfeit his/her prize and the prize may be awarded to an alternate winner or runner up from among all remaining eligible Entries received for the applicable Challenge, at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Once the official paperwork is received within the specified time period, verified, and receives final approval by the Promotion Entities, then and only then will a potential winner become an actual winner. All prize awards are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. Once the winners are confirmed, they will receive the applicable Challenge Prizes as outlined below. Neither Sponsor, nor anyone acting on its behalf, will enter into communications with any entrant regarding the Promotion other than to notify the potential winners. Sponsor reserves the right to conduct background check(s) of any and all records of a potential prize winner and his/her guests, including, without limitation, civil and criminal court records and police reports, and participation in the Promotion constitutes entrant’s permission for Sponsor to conduct such background check(s), provided that, to the extent additional authorization is necessary under law, potential winner and his/her guest(s) shall authorize such check(s). Sponsor reserves the right (at its sole discretion) to disqualify any potential prize winner at any time prior to travel based on the results of such background check(s) or failure of potential winner to properly authorize such check(s). Unless indicated in the Challenge Prize description above, prizes are limited to Carnival Cruise Line cruises departing from North America and Europe. Associated costs for additional guest(s) are each winner’s responsibility. Approximate Retail Value of each cruise prize is set forth above. Applicable prize value may vary depending upon departure location, dates of travel, seasonal rates, duration of voyage and itinerary. Any difference between stated and actual value will not be awarded. Terms and conditions of cruise apply. Cruise must be booked within eighteen (18) months of the date of win and must sail prior to April 30, 2023 or the prize shall be forfeited. Reservations are subject to availability, blackout dates, and based on capacity restrictions. Sponsor does not guarantee the cruise will be available on the exact sailing dates requested by a winner. Cancellations within six (6) weeks of sailing will result in forfeiture of a prize. All travel is capacity controlled and subject to availability. Cruise consists of cruise fare, taxes, fees, port expenses and gratuities only. Unless otherwise indicated in the above prize description, all other expenses not expressly provided for herein including, but not limited to, airfare, ground transportation, pre and post cruise accommodations, shore excursion fees, alcoholic beverages, premium dining, spa services, gratuities, onboard expenditures, and any other incidental costs or other expenses not specifically set forth herein are the sole responsibility of each winner and/or his/her guest. Each winner and his/her guest must (i) have all necessary identification and/or travel documents (including but not limited to a valid passport or other document) required for travel and (ii) comply with all check-in requirements, including, but not limited to, the presentation of a major credit card. Any portion of a prize not accepted by winner will be forfeited, and the Sponsor shall not be responsible for any inability of a winner to accept or use any portion of a prize for any reason. Any onboard credit issued as part of a prize must be used in full before the end of the cruise voyage or the remaining balance shall be void. No credits or refunds shall be provided for unused onboard credits. No cash redemptions. No stateroom upgrades or downgrades shall be permitted. Prizes are non-transferable, cannot be substituted (except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor who reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value), and may not be sold or combined with any other offer. No “Vacation Guarantee” or similar type offer shall apply. If a cruise is cancelled after ticketing of cruise, for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. All details to be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Each winner is responsible for any federal, state and local taxes, as well as any other costs and expenses associated with acceptance and use of prize not specified as covered as part of prize herein.

Australia Cruise Prize: Airfare provided in connection with such prize shall consist of roundtrip commercial premium economy air travel for winner and guest from a major airport nearest winner's U.S. residence, or coach commercial airfare from same to the extent premium economy is unavailable, up to a total value of $6,000.00 USD. Any upgrades or downgrades to airfare made at the request of winner, and any airfare in excess of the above amount shall be at winner and guest's sole expense. Sponsor shall book the flights provided under this Official Rules. Flight times, dates, travel class and seating are subject to availability and Sponsor is not responsible for any flight delays or cancellations by parties other than Sponsor. Hotel accommodations shall consist of one (1) standard hotel room and Sponsor shall provide winner and guest with a total of two (2) nights of hotel accommodations in the departure port, for a limit of $300.00 USD per night. Winner and guest shall be responsible for complying with hotel check-in requirements and shall be solely responsible for any incidental costs incurred in connection with such hotel stay and any charges in excess of the above nightly amount. Such accommodations may be before, after or before and after the sailing of the cruise. Any upgrades or downgrades to hotel accommodations made at the request of winner, shall be at winner and guest's sole expense. Sponsor is not responsible for any cancellations or changes in accommodations made by the hotel. No credits or refunds shall be provided for any downgrades in airfare or hotel accommodations. All other prize terms and conditions in the preceding paragraph shall apply to the Australia cruise prize.

Total ARV of all prizes to be awarded in the Promotion: $88,825.

MISCELLANEOUS: By participating, each entrant acknowledges and agrees: (1) to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and judges which are final and binding in all respects; (2) that his/her Entry (and all components thereof) will not be acknowledged or returned; (3) that Released Parties and their respective designees shall have the right and permission to use (unless prohibited by law) entrant’s name, voice, city and state of residence, photograph and/or likeness for advertising and/or trade and/or any other purpose in any media now or hereafter known without further compensation, permission or notification to entrants or any third parties; and (4) that Released Parties will have no liability or responsibility for any claim arising in a potentially heightened risk of exposure to communicable diseases, viruses, bacteria or illnesses (including, without limitation, COVID-19) and the causes thereof, and sickness arising as a result of participant’s participating in the Promotion and related activities, wherever, whenever or however the same may occur; and (5) to release the Released Parties from all liability and to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any claim, action, liability, loss, injury or damage to entrant or any other person or entity, including, without limitation, infringement or violation of third-party rights or personal injury or death to entrant or any other person or damage to personal or real property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of (a) the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize; (b) participation in or administration of this Promotion; (c) the exploitation of any of the rights granted herein; and (d) any element of this Promotion; (3) to assume all liability for any injury or damage related to (2) (a)-(d); (4) to be bound by the Official Rules and the Administrator’s decisions which are final; (5) to waive all rights to claim or collect punitive, incidental, consequential or any other damages; (6) that all causes of action relating to this Promotion will be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action; (7) that any and all claims, judgments, or awards shall be limited to actual out of pocket costs incurred, excluding attorneys' fees; and (8) that Florida law shall apply exclusively to the Promotion and that any dispute with respect to the Promotion shall be resolved in either the federal or state courts located in the County of Miami-Dade, State of Florida. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to void suspect Entries or to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the Promotion (or any portion thereof) should virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes, including but not limited to war or armed conflict (whether or not officially declared), labor controversy or threat thereof, and/or acts of God, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the promotion and, in the event of such cancellation, suspension or termination, at its discretion, select the winner(s) from among all non-suspect, eligible entries received for the applicable Challenge up to time of such action. Entrant further releases Facebook of any and all claims relating to this Promotion.
