Your scenic excursion begins at the port, where you will board your motor coach and drive past sites such as the fortress of Bergenhus, King Haakon's Hall, and Rosenkrantz Tower. After passing the buildings of the Hanseatic period and the fish market of Bergen, you will head south past Lake Kaland and Os, a village on the Bjoernefjord. From there, you will drive along the fjord and enjoy stunning views of the islands and snowcapped mountains in the distance. Afterward, ride to Hatvik and board the ferry for a short ride through the beautiful sea to Venjaneset. Once there, you’ll resume driving and visit the ancient wooden Holdhus Church. Ride through small communities while taking in the local scenery, and you’ll arrive at Hardangerfjord, where on clear days you can see Folgefonna — the collective name of three plateau glaciers, and an amazing site. You’ll continue along Hardangerfjord to the beautiful village of Øystese, where you’ll stop to take scenic photos and rest for lunch. Once done, stop at the amazing Steinsdalsfossen waterfall, which has a unique feature —you can walk safely behind it and remain dry. You will then go through several tunnels to arrive at the Tokagjel Gorge and climb to the Kvamskogen Mountain Plateau, which is a popular recreation area for the people of Bergen. Next, you’ll visit the stunning Gullbotn Mountain and experience stunning views. After your amazing adventure, you’ll head back to the northern suburbs of Bergen to admire the very typical architecture in Sandviken (“Sand Bay”) on the way back to the pier.
