- Learn how dog teams, horses, wagons and narrow-gauge railway trains, a pipeline, and the new Klondike Highway, finally blasted through to the Yukon in 1978, have all used the route.
- Passing through Skagway and up the river valley, you will make frequent photo stops to locate the original Dead Horse Trail, the old Bracket Wagon Road, the trestles and tunnels of the White Pass & Yukon Route, Pitchfork Falls, Moore Bridge, and numerous surrounding glaciers and peaks.
- At the summit of the White Pass, a stop is made at the U.S./Canada border before returning to Skagway.
