Details

This half-day adventure in Bruges Old Town will take you past timeless medieval architecture and prominent landmarks before taking you to a local beer tasting. Your tour begins when you arrive in Bruges Old Town. There, you’ll follow your guide to the 775-year-old Belfry of Bruges, a medieval bell tower and one of the city’s most prominent landmarks. Nearby is the Town Hall, built between 1376 and 1420, and one of the oldest guild halls in the Low Countries of Europe. Then, have your camera ready for one of the square’s most notable sights, the Basilica of the Holy Blood. Originally built in the 12th century to hold a holy relic, this Romanesque-style church is known for its gleaming, sculpted statues and stunning 18th-century stained glass windows (exterior viewing only). After sightseeing, your guide will take you to a delightful local café for a beer tasting. Finally, explore on your own for approximately 30 minutes before rejoining your motor coach and heading back to port.
