The Airboat and Jaguar Zoo combo with lunch excursion is the perfect adventure for the family! Located in Belize and a short distance away from the port, you’ll get to enjoy the best little zoo in the world in a natural, jungle setting. Engage in close encounters with Tapirus, the national animal of Belize and enjoy a thrilling airboat ride through the mangroves of Belize. The Belize Zoo is home to animals that have been abandoned or rescued, born at the zoo or rehabilitated. The zoo features over 175 animals and the best part is that you get to have a few personal encounters during your visit. Home to the 5 cats of Central America, you get to see the jaguar up close, crocodiles, howler monkeys, the national bird of Belize – the Toucan, and the national animal – the Tapir. Belize is home to over 50 species of snakes and at the zoo you will get acquainted with a few.

After exploring the wild animals of Belize, you will enjoy a tasty Belizean lunch before you embark on the next adventure on the Almond Hill lagoon. When you arrive at the Airboat Adventure Outpost, get ready for the adrenaline rush of a 45 minute airboat ride through the mangroves and savannah of Belize. Keep a look out for crocodiles, manatees and a variety of birds that are native to Belize while your captain and first mate gives you some fun facts of the natural environment. You will have time to visit the gift shop for souvenirs and a light snack for your 20 minute ride back to the port where your ship awaits.
