Scenic Drive: Start with a drive through an ocean front rain forest and the scenic highlights of Hilo as we make our way to Rainbow Falls.
Rainbow Falls: Rainbow Falls is an iconic waterfall right off a postcard featuring 80-ft.tall twin waterfall system. Take a stroll through the banyan trees or just enjoy the view of the falls before heading along Onomea Bay Scenic Drive. Look for the rainbow effect that gives the waterfall its name!
Akaka Falls: Majestic Akaka Falls, a stunning 442-ft. waterfall that plunges down a sheer cliff into the water below.
Local Shopping: Before heading back to the pier, enjoy some free time for shopping on Banyan Drive.
What’s Included:
Requirements & Restrictions: : The minimum age is 4 years old. Guests must be able to climb in and out of a lifted 15 passenger van unaided (scooters, wheelchairs and walkers cannot be accommodated). Guests must be able to negotiate steps and slippery, steep terrain.
What to Bring: Comfortable closed-toe shoes and cash or credit/debit card for additional purchases.
Good to Know: Children 7 years old and under require a car seat per Hawaii state law. The tour operator can supply a child safety or booster seat at no charge with advance notice to the onboard Shore Excursions Desk. Some roads may be unpaved and bumpy.
