Walk along the main boardwalk known as Ventana al Mar, the Flag Square and see what makes this city, the "Cinderella of the Pacific". Then is time to move on to your cooking & tasting experience. Our chef will tantalize your palate with an authentic Mexican fare learning the secrets of some traditional Mexican favorites such as the Tostada, The Enchilada and the King of dips, a mouthwatering Guacamole. Enjoy the Margaritas throughout your culinary experience while you learn how to prepare the world-famous cocktail originated here in Ensenada, such as the Classic Margarita, Margarita Jalapeño & Margarita Tamarindo. After the Mexican lunch enjoy a complementary visit of the Tequilera Ensenada located in the second floor. The host will teach you about the ancient beverage, its captivating history and the intricate creation process. Discover the differences between various tequilas, sampling Blanco, Reposado, and Añejo tequilas as well as samples of 3 additional liquors. Bottles of tequila are available for purchase, should guests wish to buy a bottle to capture the experience. Guests will end their excursion at the Opal Mine Jewelry, where guests can decide to return to the ships or explore the multitude of restaurants, bars, and cafes on the 1st street.

  • Guests wishing to stay longer downtown will be responsible for returning to the ship on their own, which is approximately a 5-10 minute walk.
