Historical Sightseeing: Discover all this "gem of the Caribbean" has to offer. Board a colorful, customized open-air school bus to tour the charming island of Grand Turk from the cruise pier to the furthest northern point of the island. Learn all its rich history and culture while riding past the stunning Bermudian-style architecture. Then, travel along the Northern coastline of the island, passing gorgeous panoramic island views, and modern and traditionally built homes towards the lighthouse. Keep a look out for the donkeys and beautiful seasonal pink flamingoes!
Landmark Replica John Glenn Space Capsule: The bus will drive passed this unique attraction, located right in front of the JAGS McCartney Airport, while learning of astronaut John Glenn and the Friendship 7 capsule. The capsule splashed into the Atlantic Ocean in 1962, a few short miles off the coast of Grand Turk.
Craft Market: Hop off the bus at this first stop and walk down to the local craft market to find food trucks and many local vendors with delicious local dishes, crafts and textiles. Take photos with the ocean as your backdrop!
Live DJ & Server: What would a tour of a Caribbean Island be if it didn’t include music, a beach and a little rum? Laugh, clap, sing, and dance to the beat of the Caribbean music as you enjoy a live DJ and are served rum punch. Soft drinks and water are also available.
Rum Tasting: Become enlightened by the history of the lighthouse and majestic backdrop views of the Atlantic Ocean. Sit back, relax, enjoy the ocean breeze at this gazebo stop where you may participate in a sampling of three (3) flavors of locally distilled rum. Learn of the history behind the Bambarra Rum name and how it traces back to the story of the Trouvadore, a ship bound for Cuba that wrecked off the coast of the islands in the 1800s.
Governor’s Beach: It’s a fun ride to Governor’s Beach, famous for its incredibly white sand and turquoise waters. Swim, join a game of beach volleyball, or relax under complimentary umbrellas and chairs. It's an experience you won't forget.

Requirements & Restrictions: Minimum age – 3 years. Minimum age to drink – 18 years. For safety reasons, guests with back problems, and guests with difficulties walking and standing for extended periods of time may not participate on this excursion.
What to Bring: Comfortable walking shoes or water shoes, snorkel gear, beach towel and sunscreen. Cash for purchases, as some local vendors do not accept credit cards.
Good to Know: Beach time is approximately 1.5 hours. Food and drink vendors at Governor’s Beach may differ depending on day, time, or availability. It is recommended to purchase food or snacks at Craft Market, the first stop. Rum Punch is prohibited from being served while bus is in motion.
