Explore the spectacular leaping rainbows cascading into a circular pool at Rainbow Falls. Be captivated by Hilo’s early history while visiting the Lyman Museum and Mission House. Enjoy a visit to the Pana'Ewa Rainforest Zoo and see the endangered Nene, the Hawaiian State Bird.  The Rainforest Zoo features over 100 varieties of Palm and an extensive collections of Orchids, Clumping Bamboos and Tropical Rhododendrons.  The planting effort by volunteers is continuous and the Zoo grounds are considered a botanical garden. Stop at Mauna Loa  Macadamia Nut Visitor Center.
