Enjoy an exciting trek learning all about this amazing world famous volcanic crater, where, in the 1800s, British sailors mistook its glittering calcite crystals in the lava rocks for diamonds.
Meet your nature guide at the pier and head by motor coach to the Southeast coast of Oahu.
Begin with a 45 minute walk that ascends to the 763' summit. Along the way, stop at several points to rest and photograph the crater.
Walk up stairways, go into a lighted 200 foot tunnel and climb a spiral stair case, learning all about important information on Hawaii’s native plant species.
Upon reaching the summit , enjoy some free time and be thrilled by the incredible 360 degrees panoramic views of Waikiki Beach, the emerald green mountains and the sparkling aquamarine water of the Pacific ocean below.
Finally, return back to the bottom and be presented with a Certificate of Achievement, that states you successfully made it to the famous summit of Diamond Head Crater.
