SkyGlider: Elevate your Icy Strait Point experience with the only mountaintop gondola experience in Southeast Alaska and enjoy 360⁰ views! From the base of Icy Strait Point, you will ascend over 1,500 feet to the top of Hoonah Mountain with views from all sides.
World’s Largest ZipRider: Feel your adrenaline rush on this thrilling and scenic flight adventure. Higher than the Empire State Building and towering at 1,330 feet above sea level, the ZipRider boasts speeds of up to 60 mph and a 25% grade. At 5,495 feet long and six cables side by side, this is truly an experience of a lifetime. You’ll walk to your launch platform, followed by an outfitting into your safety harness and brief safety instructions before the countdown begins. Back at sea level, a series of breaks will safely decelerate your ride at the Drop Zone in the heart of Icy Strait Point.
Requirements & Restrictions: Minimum weight – 75 lbs. Maximum weight – 275 lbs. For safety reasons, pregnant women, and guests with back or neck injuries, high blood pressure or heart conditions may not participate on this excursion. Guests with mobility difficulties will need to ask the gondola attendant at the top of the mountain for transportation to the ZipRider. The walk from the gondola to ZipRider is 1/4 mile downhill on gravel. Guests must have the ability to hold on to the ride straps and the ability to hold their legs out straight when launching and landing.
What to Bring: Closed toe shoes and cash or credit cards for purchases.
