King Kamehameha Statue: Learn the historic and cultural significance of this great valley where an army of men, numbering in the thousands, stood in a 25-mile-long chain to create King Kamehameha’s most important temple. You will visit the original statue of King Kamehameha that was handcrafted in Florence, Italy in 1878.
Hiking: Travel up the Kohala coastline to Pololu Valley, one of the most remote locations on the island, where forested cliffs plunge directly into the crystal-clear blue waters below. Your experienced guide will then lead the intimate size group down a switchback trail to the black sand beach nestled between majestic mountains and highlighted with a lush green valley stretching out behind its shore.
Coffee Stop: We will also be making a stop at a wonderful coffee shop in the quaint town of Hawii that offers 100% Hawaiian coffee and specialty ice cream made in Hawaii.
