Visit Florence, one of Italy s most atmospheric cities, steeped in history, striking buildings, and treasure-crammed churches. After a motor coach journey of about 1.5 hours, your walking tour begins outside of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, the Baptistery and the Campanile Bell Tower.
Continue past Piazza della Signoria and Piazza Santa Croce and view the exterior of its famous church. Take a photo of the 14th century Ponte Vecchio Bridge. Marvel at the inside visit to the Accademia and see the most amazing masterpieces of art like David by Michelangelo. Enjoy time on your own and lunch at a typical Italian restaurant.
This excursion can not be offered on Mondays as Museums are closed. Headphones will be provided. Shoulders and knees covered when entering religious buildings. Comfortable shoes are recommended. No large bags are permitted in the Accademia. Itinerary may be reversed.
