Your tour begins as you drive through the picturesque county of Kent, known as the “Garden of England,” and arrive at the medieval city of Canterbury. Enjoy a leisurely 60-minute walk with your guide through the center of the city and learn the fascinating history of this cathedral city that is home to a World Heritage Site. During your walking tour, you will see the cathedral precincts, historic King’s School, medieval lanes where pilgrim inns and weaver houses still stand, and many other interesting sites (the guided walk is optional; you may also explore on your own). Afterward, enjoy approximately 75 minutes of time on your own to explore. You can use this time to visit the inside of Canterbury Cathedral (admission fee applies) or to discover other areas of the city. You can also visit local stores and shop for souvenirs to take home — the choice is yours. Once you are back aboard the motor coach, your tour will continue through Kent, famous for its fruit orchards, beer hops fields and vineyards. After your tour, you will be taken directly to LGW airport.
