Come along on this family-oriented tour and get to know the beautiful downtown Mazatlán! After a thorough safety briefing by your guide, you will be able to test ride the electric bike that you will be using throughout the day and get acquainted with the controls. When you’re ready, grab your bike and follow your guide through the small and quiet streets of downtown Mazatlán. You will visit Plaza Machado, with its buildings of French and Spanish architectural influence and its beautiful kiosk. You will also ride past the Angela Peralta Theater and the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, both dating back to the 1800s. Guests will be able to walk inside this magnificent church before continuing on your bike for a comfort stop at a local art gallery. During this time, you will be able to browse or shop among the various Mexican handcrafts or simply relax and take some pictures before continuing to the Malecón boardwalk. From there, you will ride along the oceanfront on a dedicated pedestrian/bike path with several stops along the way to learn more about the history of Mazatlán through its sculptures and monuments, and take advantage of several photo opportunities on the way. You’ll also have the chance to see local cliff divers perform before continuing to the beautiful “Monumento al Pescador,” meaning, “Fisherman’s Monument” which is a popular landmark of Mazatlán.
