First sit back and drive up to the Bellver Castle, a unique Spanish round castle standing for almost 700 years on a green hill and overlooking beautiful Palma’s Bay. After a photo stop sweep along the seafront stopping at the magnificent, honey-coloured Cathedral and the Almudaina Palace for another photo opportunity. As you make your way through the main streets of Palma, your guide will point out sights such as Paseo Born, the Gran Hotel, the Teatro Principal and the tree-lined Rambla with its typical flower market. Leaving the city behind, you’ll head towards Valldemossa, a beautiful small village in Tramuntana Mountains, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Here you can take a stroll at your own pace or visit individually the Royal Carthusian Monastery, which dates back to the 14th century. The story says that composer Frederic Chopin and his mistress, the French novelist George Sand, spent three tempestuous months here during the winter of 1839. The tour continues its route climbing and winding up into the spectacular cliff hills along the impressive coast of Mallorca, passing the picturesque town of Deià, where we will enjoy panoramic views over the view point “Na Foradada”. Upon arrival in Port of Soller during a short walking tour we get to know its highlights and afterwards we will have free time perfect for an afternoon coffee or a chill out at the local beach.
