If you or a family member relies on a wheelchair or scooter to get around, you may still enjoy a sightseeing tour together in a ADA van with an electric lift as well as seating for able-bodies travel companions. Guests on the van will be grouped no more than 8 people, so your certified driver/guide can provide a very personal level of service, as he/she demonstrates some of Vallarta's best known sights. You'll travel to downtown as your guide keeps you well informed and entertained along the way. You'll have a stop at Malecón, near the main square and the Church of our Lady of Guadalupe. Visit the many sculptures and pose for a few photos or selfies before re-boarding the van to visit the Romantic Zone, where your guide will park to allow about 30 minutes of free time, to explore shop or relax. From there, you'll be driven to a tropical, rustic Mexican hideaway called Rio Bendito, nestled on the banks of the Pitillal River. Follow the trails to view a wide variety of tropical plants, flowers and water fowl. Take part in a tequila tasting presentation, or learn the generations old art of making tortillas by hand, with the help of our local chef. You'll have some free time to order a snack or a drink, or simply relax in the shade surrounded by the sounds of nature, before returning to the ship.

NOTES

  • Tortilla and salsa are included.
