Your tour begins with a one-and-a-half-hour panoramic drive that takes you through the Učka Tunnel to Poreč, a nearly 2,000-year-old town set on a protected harbor. Stroll through the oldest part of town, Marafor Square, where you can see the Istrian Parliament Building and the ruins of two Roman temples. Then visit the famous Euphrasian Basilica, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and see an exceptional example of religious art and architecture. Climb to the top of the belfry for panoramic views of Old Town. After this visit, travel 45 minutes away to Rovinj, a late-medieval town with strong Venetian influences. Walk with your guide through cobblestone streets, including the famous Grisia Street — with cascading steps that lead to the Church of St. Euphemia. You’ll visit the Main Square, the farmers' market and Balbi’s Arch, which is located at the site of the old town gate. Afterward, enjoy a delightful seafood lunch served at a local restaurant. When you’re done, you will have some free time to explore and shop before taking the drive back to Rijeka.
