Sled Dog Adventure: Immerse yourself in the wondrous world of dog mushing! After the bus ride to camp, board a 4x4 military vehicle for a wild ride up the mountain where you will be greeted by mushers and ecstatic Alaskan huskies! Then, you’ll enjoy a summer sled ride on our custom-built sleds and cruise through the forest, being hauled by these professional athletes. After, learn about the history of dog mushing and soak up some puppy love before perusing the gift shop and returning to town.
What’s Included:
Accessibility: Tour is ambulatory accessible. Only collapsible wheelchairs can be accommodated.
Requirements & Restrictions: Guests must be able to walk approximately 300 ft. as well as ascend/descend step to get into sled and vehicle. A signed waiver is required of all guests.
What to Bring: Camera, rain gear, sturdy shoes, and cash and credit/debit card for purchases. Dress in layers.
Good to Know: Gift shop and saloon available to purchase snacks or beverages. This tour is not on snow. Six people per sled and the musher drives on the back.
