Drive to the southern part of the island and start with a visit to the Prehistoric Temple of Hagar Qim, built between 3500 and 3000 BC. The temple, which is constructed solely of globigerina limestone, is standing high overlooking the islet of Filfla. Next, drive to the picturesque Blue Grotto where (weather permitting) you will take a boat to the Grotto to view the magnificent underwater flora. Proceed to the fishing village of Marsaxlokk where you will have free time to stroll around the market. Admire the typical traditional brightly painted colored fishing boats “luzzu”. Drive back to pier after your tour.
