Sail any time this October and you can expect spooky-fun Halloween festivities packed with plenty of chills. Just so we’re clear, our ships probably aren’t haunted… but every sailing does come complete with fun Halloween extras! In addition to everything folks love about Carnival cruises, we add traditional activities like costume contests and themed dance parties. You’ll also meet Patch the Pumpkin Pirate®, get seriously creeped out at horror movies on the big scream (oops, big screen!), compete in pumpkin-carving contests and more. And just for the little spook-ees, of course there’s trick-or-treating… but there’s also costume contests, games, photo-ops and special desserts!
If you decide to spend Halloween with us, definitely bring a costume… but plan for one without a weapon. (Real or fake, doesn't matter.) No costume masks, or other costume face coverings, are allowed either. Any protective mask you wear (even if it's decorative) must comply with CDC mask guidelines. Plan accordingly!
Just so you know, Patch’s travel plans for 2022 mean he won’t be haunting Carnival Ecstasy®, Carnival Miracle®, Carnival Pride®, or Carnival Splendor® this year. But these ships will still be totally spooked-up with all the same Halloween fun and activities!
