You should allow 1-1/2 hours for your dining experience.

• For lunch, there is a nominal fee of $35 USD per guest for lunch and for dinner, there is a nominal fee of $38 USD per guest, which includes a starter, entrée and dessert. The price does not include gratuities and any beverage that is normally ordered through bar service such as wine, liquor, soda and bottled water.

• There is a $25 USD fee per person for cancellations made within 24 hours of your Bonsai Teppanyaki dinner reservation.

• The dress code is Cruise Casual.

• Bonsai Teppanyaki is currently on the following ships: Carnival Horizon, Carnival Celebration, Carnival Venezia, Carnival Panorama and Mardi Gras.
Like any destination restaurant, reservations are highly recommended. Reservations can be requested prior to your cruise on Carnival.com by accessing 'My Cruise Manager'. Requested dates and times will be honored on a first come, first served basis. If the requested time is not available, the next available time slot will be assigned. A reservation confirmation email will be sent to you within 48 hours of your request.

Reservations can also be made on board at the specialty restaurant or by calling from your stateroom. Walk-ins are welcome as well and will be seated, space permitting.

An exciting fine dining option for our guests – The Chef’s Table. This one-of-a-kind culinary experience includes an exquisite multi-course private dinner hosted by one of the line’s master chefs along with a private champagne reception and a personalized tour of the galley. A select group of 12-16 guests will enjoy champagne and hors d’ouevres hosted by the ship’s chef de cuisine. The chef then escorts the group on a personalized tour to see the galley in operation, providing participants with a unique perspective on Carnival’s extensive food and beverage operations.

• The cover charge is $80 USD per person on most ships; on Carnival Breeze, Carnival Dream, Carnival Horizon, Carnival Magic, Carnival Panorama, Carnival Radiance, Carnival Sunrise, Carnival Vista and Mardi Gras, the cover charge is $99 USD per person. An automatic 18% gratuity will be added to the cover charge and applied directly to the guest’s Sail & Sign account. The cover charge does not include any beverage that is normally ordered through bar service such as wine, liquor, soda and bottled water.
