2. Playa Telchak, Yucatan

The bustling port town of Progreso is a great stopover on your Mexican cruise. Right as you get off the ship, you’ll be in the midst of tons of shops that are great for picking up a few souvenirs to take home. This port also boasts the longest pier in Mexico. From there, you can hop a shuttle over to the long, white sands of Playa Telchak. This is the perfect place to relax, have a few drinks, go for a swim and just take in the sunny weather.
