Important Information Regarding Passports for International Tours

This excursion crosses into Canada via train or bus and all guests ages 16 and older must have a valid passport, while children under 16 should have a valid passport or an original or certified birth certificate with a raised seal and photo ID. Accepted alternatives include a Passport card, a Nexus card, or an Enhanced Driver’s License from Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Vermont, or Washington. All other Driver licenses, Real ID, military IDs, cruise ship IDs, Global Entry cards, Sentri cards, expired passports, and passport photocopies are not accepted.

Accessibility: This tour is not accessible for guests using wheelchairs, canes, rollators, or other mobility devices.

Requirements & Restrictions: Guests must be able to climb three steps into the minibus. Stops may be on gravel. Guests traveling on wheelchairs or scooters may leave them at the pier next to the Shore Excursion Booth since the bus cannot accommodate.

What to Bring: Bring along sunglasses, camera, and binoculars. Needed documentation to cross the border.

Good to Know: Weather conditions change quickly. Wear comfortable shoes and dress in layers. Guests who leave the tour in town can walk back to the pier or catch the SMART shuttle for a small fee.
