Accessibility: This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility or those who require a wheelchair. Guests with visual and/or hearing impairments must be accompanied by a companion at all times.
Requirements & Restrictions: Minimum age to consume alcohol - 18 years. Guests must be able to board and exit the vessel unassisted. Boarding is via a gangway, which may be steep depending on tidal conditions. Guests will transfer to a smaller vessel to reach the beach and will disembark onto the sand via a front staircase; feet will get wet. Dietary requests must be submitted at least 48 hours prior to port day. Requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
What to Bring: Wear swimwear under your clothes, comfortable flat-soled shoes, clothing suited to the weather conditions, a hat, and a jacket. Bring biodegradable sunscreen, bottled water, a beach towel, and local currency for additional onboard purchases.
Good to Know: Please note that snorkelling is not included on this tour. The open water crossing may be rough, and guests prone to seasickness should take appropriate precautions. Use care when moving around the vessel while underway, as it may become unsteady in certain sea conditions. This tour is subject to weather conditions, and the operator reserves the right to cancel if conditions are deemed unsafe. All swimming activities are undertaken at guests’ own risk, as no lifeguards are on duty; guests should always swim with a companion. At certain times of the year, stinger suits are recommended and may be provided. Whitehaven Beach is completely uninhabited and offers a back-to-nature experience; however, please note that there are no amenities or shops available on the island.
