Clay Pot Cooking: Foodies and master chefs can learn the art of traditional clay pot cooking at the charming Masurina Lodge. Visit a scenic lookout with spectacular panoramic city views. At Masurina Lodge, enjoy a welcome arrival drink, then head to the kitchen to meet the chef, who you will assist prepare a traditional clay pot meal. This is a hands-on experience so get ready to show off your skills. Then, while your food is cooking, visit the small but unique World War II exhibit on display. The local region played an integral part in World War II and was the site of the Battle of Milne Bay. It was here that the allied troops defeated the Japanese and halted their advance across the Pacific. Head to the air-conditioned dining room and tuck into the delicious meal that you helped prepare. You may have free time after lunch to swim, use the waterslide or relax with a drink by the bar (at your own expense). Finally, return to the ship or if you wish to stay longer, public shuttles are available.
