Board your air-conditioned transportation for a brief trip to the ferry landing before a short ride across a protected lagoon to this entertaining and colorful resort island. Upon arrival, you will receive a brief orientation about super-fun De Palm Island and all of its amenities, including the thrilling Blue Parrotfish Water Park, water slides & beach areas. Sun seekers and water babies will then have the opportunity to splash around and enjoy their paradisiacal surroundings to the fullest. Other activities include snorkeling, sunbathing, swimming and the chance to play a game or two of beach volleyball. There is also the opportunity to take a picture with one of the beautiful flamingos that live in a reserved section of the island. Your unique “passport” also includes the use of snorkeling equipment and lessons — a magnificent way of viewing the many tropical fish that live there. After your amazing tour, you will have the option to be dropped off in the downtown area, where you can take advantage of nearby shopping for local Caribbean goods and souvenirs. Guests who choose this option will simply walk a short distance back to the cruise ship on their own.

  • The Blue Parrot Water Park will be closed from Aug. 19 until Dec. 31 for yearly maintenance.
  • Snorkel gear and lessons are included.
  • Locker rentals are available for your convenience.
  • Guests must be at least 4 ft. tall to ride water slides that have height restrictions.
  • Pregnant women are not permitted on the water slides.
  • In the water park, children 3 years old and under must wear waterproof diapers.
  • Guests can visit the flamingos during visiting hours before 10:30 a.m. and from 1 to 3 p.m. The flamingos can be observed & photographed but not touched.
  • Children 5 years old and under are FREE!
  • The lunch buffet is open until 3:30 p.m. and the snack buffet until 4:30 p.m.
  • Water shoes are recommended as certain areas can be rocky.
  • The Banana Boat and zipline activities are not open to Carnival guests.
