Depart the Pier for a scenic drive along the Spring Garden Highway to get the flavor of the island as we make our way to the first stop Earthworks Potteries. Located in the center of the Island, it commands stunning views of the south coast. On the grounds sits a quaint Batik studio, fine art gallery and the Treehouse Café.
Continuing through the lush countryside and sleepy country villages, we make our way to Sunbury Plantation House, where you will enjoy a complimentary drink. The cellars, originally used for storing yams and other root vegetables grown on the plantation, now houses a unique collection of antique carriages, the largest collection in the Caribbean, as well as many items used in the domestic life of the plantation.
Leaving Sunbury, we make our way over to Foursquare Rum Distillery. Home to the most modern rum distillery in the western hemisphere and is proud to continue the 350 year old Barbadian tradition of rum making. During your visit, learn about the history and production of rum and sample the fine products produced in this facility. A leisurely drive along the South Coast will bring you back to the pier.
