Good to Know: Please note that market stalls are open on Wednesdays to Sundays only. The train is equipped with bench-style seating and is not air-conditioned. Order of sights may vary on the day. Please be advised that from July to November 2026, the Skyrail Smithfield Line, which runs from Smithfield Terminal to Red Peak, will be temporarily closed for a major upgrade. During this time, Skyrail will continue to operate a loop service between Kuranda Terminal and Barron Falls. Visitors to Barron Falls can enjoy various attractions, including free ranger-guided tours, interpretive displays, The Edge Lookout, a historical precinct, and access to boardwalks and lookouts.
